Normal arrival time in hotels and restaurants: lunch is between 12 am and 1:30 pm; dinner between 7 pm and 8:30. Do not undervalue these timetables, if you delay, the quality of your meal might be of worst quality or so far not available at all. In case of delay please call restaurants or hotels directly, number are written on your vouchers, or call Podium’s Help-Line and we’ll provide. Our Help-Line is: +39 335 5703575.
Personal documents: citizens of “Schengen-Countries”, (and only for those citizens), no document is required to travel abroad. Nevertheless we recommend to have always and in any case a personal document, such as a valid id piece or passport, with you. Tour-leaders: Please check that all passengers have a valid documents with them. All countries joined European Union after 1 of May 2004 is still requested a valid id piece. All citizens of other countries need passport and from some countries “Schengen-Visum” is required as well. Pay attention to the citizenships of traveller without any European nationality, since some countries may ask different documents to allow entrance their borders.
Travel documents: “Vouchers”, when you’ll receive your travel documents, please check immediately the following:
Number of participants;
Podium’s Help-Line number: +39 335 5703575 active every day 14 hours a day, (8 am, to 10 pm), and 24 hours a day during peak-season;
Address and phone-number of all booked service;
Phone number of your agent;
Office-phone-number of Podium Tour Operator;
Exact booked services, like guides, transfers, hotels, visits, meals, etc..
Timetable and exact places of meetings with guides and transfers;
Vouchers: using this documents, the tour-leader has to sign them according the received services and for exact number of people. What is signed will be kept in our invoice, and after signed by both parties, (tour-leader and supplier), may not be changed for any reason. In case number of participants is different then that written on the voucher, please correct it by hand and let countersign by the supplier. PAY ATTENTION: to those who are travelling long distance by bus, remember to check the driving time necessary to reach places. Since year 2007 the police and authorities controls aren’t smooth, and not rarely busses will be stopped and it’s then necessary to book another coach to continue the trip. Of course this will increase enormously problems for clients and related costs.
